Secretary: Adrian Griffiths

I have been in the club for around 10years, and have been treasurer and membership, as well as Secretary previously. I leant to dive with PADI in 2004 and found a club, joined BSAC when I was seeking a little bit more than the local adhoc diving that was going on with a small group of friends. I dive a good old Inspiration Classic, somewhat like myself, getting on in years, but if you treat it nice, it still behaves itself though generally with a distinct lack of frills. My priority roles are to encourage the club to dive safely, often, and return with a great big smile on your face.

Treasurer: Dimitris Papakonstantis

Dimitris, is the membership secretary and treasurer of the club as well as the website designer and point of contact of the “Contact Me” form.

Dimitris started diving in the Red Sea as a PADI Open Water diver in 2005.

Hi welcome to Deeside SAC. I have the pleasure of being the Diving and Training officers.

I started diving training in 1978 and completed my first open water dive in May 1979. Since then I have completed my Advanced Diver and Advanced Instructor qualifications, dabbled with tri-mix and rebreathers but now dive open circuit.

2024 will see the 45th anniversary of my first dive and I still love the sport. It has allowed me to have a very different view of this world.
